A house is
not a home without great accessories!
These include lamps, rugs, window treatments,
trays, vases with flowers, candles, clocks––
just cool stuff that creates interest and moves
the eye around a room.
Of course artwork has a special category of
its own. I have an arsenal of talented painters,
sculptors, glass blowers, etc. at my disposal,
plus my own personal archives of “masterpieces”
to choose from.
I frequent thrift stores, estate and garage
sales – I even save things from the side
of the road, to use in my projects. I often
customize these items with paint or materials
to give them a special quality or to help them
fit a particular space. You will be amazed at
the things I find, and how little they will
cost you.
As my business builds, so does the breadth of my projects! I’ve now taught a “decorating on a budget” class for young professionals and my home has been a stop on the Community Preservation Committee’s Historic Homes’ tour. I’ve also organized more fashion shows at the Willard Chapel. I have also participated in the local fundraiser "Chair-ity".
