Problem:
Moving into a new space, the Contiguglias
were faced with large, metal and plate glass
windows and an unadorned waiting room heading
into the holiday season.
Solution:
The large glass windows with metal trim made
this job difficult, but we managed to nail
into the gum material in between the metal
strips. We designed our own wreath, and used
traditional garland around the doorway. The
large windows felt cold, so we sprayed faux
snow with star-shaped stencils to warm it
up, plus hung glass and gold ornaments on
the outer window panels. Inside, we used tasteful
decorations with a natural feel, and hung
simple white lights and small ornaments from
the ceiling that were the Contiguglia's family
heirlooms.
