Developed and implemented a five-week pilot outreach program for inner-city youth through the National Youth Sports Program (NYSP). Selected and supervised two interns and an assistant. Curated and installed accompanying exhibition. Documented the project in detail, and assessed the program's effectiveness to guide future efforts. Findings were published as my thesis project.

Community Focus Group Facilitated by Senator Nozzolio

Twenty members of the community met in early '07 to select key issues confronting our region, and identify action items for implementation by committee. We next held public meetings to encourage broad-based support. Personally, I worked with Coburn Design and drafted text for a PowerPoint presentation, the brochure and website that were used as tools for this special project. I now co-chair the WiFi committee, which hopes to make Auburn a wireless Internet hotspot. Read article

Helped facilitate community art projects including "Music for Murals," a benefit for outdoor murals/building wraps, and the flower-pot project .
