Call to Action: A Blueprint for Our Region's Future, Auburn, N.Y.
Community Focus Group Facilitated by Senator Nozzolio
Twenty members of the community met in early '07 to select key issues confronting our region, and identify action items for implementation by committee. We next held public meetings to encourage broad-based support. Personally, I worked with Coburn Design and drafted text for a PowerPoint presentation, the brochure and website that were used as tools for this special project. I now co-chair the WiFi committee, which hopes to make Auburn a wireless Internet hotspot.

Helped facilitate community art projects including "Music
for Murals," a benefit for outdoor murals/building
wraps, and the flower-pot project .

Past steering committee member for new young professional's
group. Wrote copy for brochure, website and press
releases. Led efforts to coordinate non-profit volunteer
opportunities and assist various organizations with
community improvement projects. Now serve on the "Art After Six" committee.
Youth Independent Film Festival Competition, Auburn, N.Y.
Assisted with development of the criteria, rules,
entry forms, judging and screening.

Designed and installed the set design for this theater
production.

Helped with organization and layout for "Mesh
I & II" a Central Upstate N.Y. fashion
show in coordination with Syracuse's International
Film festival. Assembled and showed a line of custom-made
clothes. Assisted with publicity for "Rock
the Vote" in Syracuse's Inner Harbor.

Helped with the organization, scripting and layout for "Sassy Spring Fashions" and their fall fashion show. Assembled and showed a line of vintage clothes.
